There have been requests for the OM603.96 vacuum diagram in the 1987 300D Turbo and the 300SDL. Here is a vacuum diagram from the 1990 publication of the Mercedes (paper, not CD-ROM) FSM for engines 602 and 603. Following the vacuum diagram is an electrical diagram for the Electronic Diesel System. Some versions may not have the air recirculation valve (ARV) and its associated vacuum transducer.

I uploaded the diagrams to my Photobucket account in the largest available size – they somewhat overfill the page here in this forum but that guarantees good resolution. If you download them, save them as JPEG files, and then print them out, they should fill one page each and be easy to read.
