After crawling underneath and investigating the mounting points, it appears the rear lower unit needs a closed end wrench and a torx bit socket to loosen the shocks.
Talked to the Service Writer today and he quoted me good prices on the shocks but a CRAZY amount for labor.
I'll be tackling this one myself for sure and enjoy a cigar and a few festive beverages post-hoc.
