I don't know if this information is going to help, but a Cobra from the Veit-Nam era can fly upside down for way longer that you might think.

This is only useful when ferrying loud mouthed majors from one place to another and they are starting to get on your nerves. They are very quite after that.

At least, that is what I have been told.
