I have dealt with shipping items to foriegn countries. Both from E-Bay sales and non-ebay sales. I have never had a problem. I have shipped to Sweden, England, Belguim, Argentinia, Austrails and Thialand.
There are some countries that some E-Bay sellers won't ship to, Italy, Uraguay and probably African countries. I usually end up shipping by US postal service, as being the least expensive. I give the choice of Parcel post, Priority Mail and the next up from there. Parcel post is the least expensive, but no insurance. Priority Mail has insurance and maybe tracking. Its about 50% more though. I take the stance that its the buyer luck if they don't take insurance. I haven't had any problems 'yet' in that packages didn't get there or damages. I would double box any items.
