First I wanted to thank-you for answering my questions. I do appreciate it. I used to own a Ford Ranger and did all my maintenance and replacement myself. Then I got married and moved for a job and my wife and I bought our Mercedes used. I told my wife I would work on the cars if something went wrong with them. Well now my 320 has this surging problem and My wife's ML320 needs a rear bearing replacement. I commute a lot and these are our only cars.
I just pulled a plug and they are black and the gap is greater then 1/16 of an inch, it is a (F8DC4). Is this gap to big?? I did open up my Mass Air Flow wiring and it was disintegrated.
