Kuan there are at least a couple of solutions. First you could simply get a lowering kit for the ML. If I remember correctly Brabus makes one, and I think I made mention of it in my research about the ML. This would drop the height by I think 3-5 inches.

Second, while I don’t live or drive in Minnesota, I only rarely had problems due to road/snow clearance or accumulation in my TE. If you look, MB actually gives the wagons a fair amount of clearance in the form of large wheel wells and actual ground clearance. Due to the wheel wells you could easily plus-size the winter tires and gain a couple of inches that way.

Having previously owned a wagon and now a ML I am absolutely sure you will love the wagon

Oh, Tvpierce: The older w124 4-matic system made between I think it was ’90 and ’93 was problematic. The newer 4-matic system made beginning ’98 and still in production (although enhanced) is a very good system
