I think another thing to consider is that your PS belt won't touch the oil cooler hose unless there's another problem, like a collapsed driver side motor mount.

I'd have the car towed home and repair it there. Luckily you need to remove the motor mount and jack up the motor to get the old oil cooler line out anyway so you could just replace it.
