Yeah that hill always gets me, the speed limit up is 60 and I usually chug along at 35

Our hot weather sucks, I remember it being 10:00 at night and it being 110oF outside. I rolled the windows down and it was like a hair blow dryer in my face.. and those days where it's 125oF ugh, all you hear is air conditioning units.... vwnate if I may ask, where are you located? Are you in the valley?
No ; I'm in Pasadena but I travel a LOT and spend the night in Yukka Valley at least twice a year during the So. Cal. TT Runs , once on a Moto and the other in my old Mercedes Diesel .

Plus , every August SWMBO says we have to vacation in Indio....

For those who don't know , Indio , Ca. is at the gates of hell and they have date fams there with millions of dates rotting on the ground in the 120* F heat , this of course brings out , oh about a ZILLION flies who are either eating the dead dates or trying to land on your lips or yes...

other than that , it's a nice place to vacation
