my brother had one of those.wife parked it in the garage and about half hour later he smelled smoke.looked in the garage and it was filled with smoke .called fire dept they show up and evidently something shorted out in the main power box right behind the battery,and melted the hood release cable so they couldn't open the hood.also melted the shift cable as they couldn't get it out of gear.ended up using the fire truck to drag it out of the garage to keep from burning the house down.the one thing i liked about the car is it had crank windows.
