Even if that happens on Jan 1 2009, it will still take a good many years before that level of criticism wears off. Even longer for the client to take another chance with the Big 3. Even years ago, Shakespeare told us that the evil that men do lives after them. Add that to the fact that their cars will cost more to make than Honda, Acura, etc, etc makes it unlikely that GM will recover.
