When the wife and I got married we were very poor. She wanted a clothes dryer, so I bought one at the Good Will. When I plugged it in it didn't work, but when I opened the door and pushed the button it would work. So me being "Mr. Fixit" I popped the front off and switched the contact wires of the door switch without unplugging the dryer and after my wife pulled me out of the wall the dryer worked fine. And to this day I think that the electrical shock from the dryer shorted out a few wires in my brain. I think I suffered Dain Bramage.
