Labor on R@R head 9 hours. I would reseal front timing cover also and replace any worn rails and make sure chain ok also, to do this add another 5 hours on top. So 14 hours total. Make sure head bolts are replaced and any sealant used on cover is (permatex right stuff ) I also use the gray. If you would tackle the job yourself its not that hard , you need some special tools and clean work area out of the weather. Alot of people on this board have done their own, so help is availible. When you send the head to the machine shop make sure you send front cover attached. There is a spec how far to cut the head, the you have to cut the cover too cause of the seal underneath .
