I think the problem with that particular La-Z-Boy Retailer was that they said one thing, then tried to pull a fast one AND say it was something else...then they get caught...

Kerry, it's best you walked away from that deal...first off, did you really want some piece of furniture that's been on the floor of a store, taking the abuse that YOU NEVER SAW (sticky, sugar-jazzed, un-attended kids running around and jumping on everything), or some lard-a55ed mofo leaving small rings of butt-fudge on the fabric...

Ew-w-w-w!

Best thing? Write a note to the store and "cc" the Main Offices of La-Z-Boy to let them know that store needs a better class of management...

Obviously, the level of management at that store is interested in a check only and not in the Company's reputation...I'd be willing to bet that there are a few folks in your area that would be happy to have a job managing that store in a more customer-friendly manner than what's being done now...
