When I filled on Sunday (Kwik Trip just off I94 in WI), the sign said 2.34, so I pulled in and there were two diesel nozzles at the same pump. One was 2.34 and the other said 'Premium Diesel' 2.39. I wondered what 'Premium' diesel was. Upon further inspection it was winterized diesel. So of course I used that. All pumps I have ever been to don't have the option of #2 or winterized. It is all just winterized.

Why on earth would they sell non-winterized diesel in Minnesota in January?
Maybe both pumps deliver #1 diesel but the "winterized" stuff has been treated to some fuel conditioner like Redline DFC, Power Service winter blend or Stanadyne, hence the nickel a gallon more?
