I love looking at the 123, my favorite "modern" Mercedes body and the most instantly recognizable IMO.

But I hate driving them. On the other hand, I really hate the tail of the 210, not a single C class that exites me cosmetically, and the W140 for all of its driving delight and refinement, looks more like a refrigerator than a car.

Do you want to look at it or drive it?

The later cars are also safer in active as well as passive safety. Your call.
