Arthur, if you ever find yourself within 100 miles of Houston, I'll buy dinner!

Take a look at this picture:



The wires in this connector exactly match the color specs as indicated by the wiring diagram for 10/8 - Blue / Grey Stripe and Brown / Yellow Stripe.

I wondered why that connection was stretched so far....

Reversing the connectors and running a quick sensor value check reveals expected values and no more constant fans!

I'm gonna go punch my mechanic in the nose!!!

It's no big deal to put the HVAC wire on the cam advance servo - no voltage is in that circuit and I don't think the servo will care. However, there is voltage in the advance servo connector, which was connected to a circuit that's grounded!!!! Hopefully, the solid-state nature of the control systems will just log a code and keep on truckin'...

I need to pull codes next to see what if anything is wrong.

But for now - the HVAC (and I) are very happy!!!
