Everyone I talk to about my symptoms (hard start, rough idle, smoke when idling) says to have the IP checked. Pacific FI is within 30 miles of me so that's the route I'll be taking when I confirm that compression and chain stretch are not issues.

The more familiar you become with the 603, the more you realize what an engineering marvel the 617 really is.
