There has been at least one serious study which refutes Horowitz's claim about indoctrination and bias in the academy. Colorado came pretty close to requiring the hiring of a certain quota of 'conservative' professors a few years ago. Odd coming from the anti-quota crowd.

I recently read a student review of our Old Testament professor, claiming she was 'biased'. Most of the times I have investigated such criticisms it turned out to mean that the professor believed the text had a history, as opposed to dropping directly out of heaven. Is it bias to think that everything has a history?
