The K40 relay lives in the black plastic box just forward of the firewall on the right side of the engine compartment, about where the battery would go if it were there.

The K40 does more and less. It contains several relays, but no over-voltage sensor. One of those relays serves half of the function of the prior OVP.
In the diesel 210, the IFI computer detects the over-voltage condition and switches the relay off at the K40. In the 124, the OVP did the whole job.
