Dealer certification....

...stolen badges...long delays...Mon Dieu!

I've earned high mileage badges for my 1967 250SE, 1984 300SD and my 1991 420SEL and now I am looking forward to getting one for my daughter's 1989 300TE.

I never had to get a dealer to certify my mileage, never had to wait more than a couple of weeks for the badge (and the nifty certificate that comes with the badge) to be delivered and I never had a badge stolen. I guess I must lead a fairly lucky life

Call or write MB of North America, ask for the application form and send it in...you should get your badge in not time at all. The mileage award program is a real nice program that Mercedes has for its customers. It shows what a classy company Mercedes is. My father gets a "repeat customer" grill badge every time that he buys a new Caddy. Nice looking badge; unfortunately, however, it is attached to a Caddy!
