Good question , I personally dont like to rebuild calipers, if you can find used or even a reman set then go for it. To professionally rebuild the calipers they need to be broken down all the way and cleaned. Problem with this is when you split the caliper there are 2 o-rings in there and I have not been able to locate any of these o-rings and they dont come in the kits. Besides on a technician level it is cheaper on the customer and less headache for us to replace instead of rebuild.
