I was having a very similar issue on my 300SE. It died twice on right turns, and once on a left turn.
I never did figure out what the problem was, it seems to have just gone away.
There is an excellent sudden stalling fact sheet, do a search on "SSS".
I suspect in your case it may be a fuel filter or fuel pump related issue, but there are many things on this car that it could be.
I do have some theories, though...
1) Perhaps the fuel sloshing in the tank during the turn exacerbates a fuel pump or filter issue
2) An electrical connection is loose and the force of turning is enough to interrupt it.
Double check the electrical connections to your fuel pump. Perhaps they didn't tighten it enough when they were working on your fuel system. Did they change the fuel filter when they were doing all that cleaning?
Good luck finding your problem. Please post back and let us know what you found out.
