I don’t think that ratchet came with that set. Especially if you’re thinking ‘50s.

I have a 3/8 Craftsman ratchet from the ‘70s and it still has the straight grip, flat back and front. That wrench is later than that.

I'm not vintage tool guy though. Do a google search and you'll find there are plenty out there though.
