The buttons are for the Tele-Aid/Emergency Call system. The wrench button is for Roadside Assistance, the "i" button is for INFO. You probably don't have an active subscription for this service, but since your system is digital, your dealer can activate it for you. I'm not sure what the subscription will cost, but it's probably a couple hundred bucks per year.
