Hello, I've got a chance to buy an E300D wagon for around £2000 ($3500ish), with 150,000 miles and air-con, or keep my existing E300D which has 190,000 miles and no air-con, but I can have it brand-new retro-fitted to factory spec for £1800.
My car is in slightly better overall cosmetic condition, but I was wondering what your choice would be? Do you think spending that much on a car with 190k is false economy? Both cars have been looked-after mechanically and have no major issues. (and yes, I reeeally want air-con!
