I found something that would be of interest to those that have had 'clutch bleeding problems'. Yesterday while flushing the brake/clutch hydraulic system, (not to be confused with bleeding air from the clutch system) We opened the clutch bleeder last and nothing came out. I had 20# on the pressure bleeder. Turns out, The tiny hole in the bleeder was completely plugged with crud. I pulled the bleeder from an old slave and handed it to my friend under the car and he swapped it in. That bleeder in the slave is the lowest part of the clutch hydraulics so thats where all the crud collects, unlike the brake slaves. So check those clutch slave bleed fittings.
