I measured the various bits of intake on my OM617.950 and I thought I'd share that info here.

the OD of the intake of the garrett t3 turbo appears to be 60mm (~2.36 inches).

the OD of the stock filter housing appears to be 70mm (~2.75 inches).

thus, the u-shaped tube which connects the two is bigger on one end.
