Ok, so i took te 87 SDL out for a winter run the other day. Tranny seems to shift pretty smooth, but when i get up so speed, say 30mph let it coast, then get back on it to accelerate the tranny seems to clunk real hard before it kicks in.

Any ideas what this may be? a friend said it used to happen in his, but couldnt remember what it was that was broken.
