barry123400 The engine shuts right off when you push the stop lever on the injector pump. The thing is i didnt have this problem when i cahnged the shut off valve after the valve change the motor ran well it idled rough but smoothed right out at about 1000 rpm. Motor still wouldnt turn off when you turned the key but it idled. I then started to go through the various vacum lines and connectors and replacing any that didnt hold vacum. after changing a few connectors on the passenger side by the battery, i started the car and it ran right up. If i did install the shut off valve incorrectly can anyone give me the correct procedure to replace.
