Things were going downhill before Bush even ran for President. It just came to a head during his term. We had a national debt since when? Our industries were being run out of town only in the last 8 years? Really?

Govt. bureaucracy is huge. It's ridiculous to give Obama grief about that at this point. In a year or two, maybe.
It's true that much of our woes have been building for some time, but Bush, and more importantly, the vast army of people who promoted and apologized for his every move made matters worse.
