Well german cars are like that. They were built for the autobahn=high RPM driving. My 420 doesn't get up on its cams until about 3000RPM. The only think I can think of is to put a lower geared rear end in it but that costs big bucks. It would probably be more cost effective and worthwhile to sell the 300 and get a 400. Just a thought.
