yes- these could be the culprits

>you could always take the car to another tech for 2nd opinion
> you could also ask the current tech to put the car on the lift and show you these worn components/ inspection (visual)

if this turns out to be the cause, you may wish to replace these pieces on both sides to restore equivalent performance
