A '94 C280 ain't worth a whole lot more then that $2500 repair. Unless the body and interior are mint, I would sell the C280 as is for $1500 to $2000 to somebody that can do the work themselves for just the cost of parts, and add to that the $2500 you were going to spend on the repair and buy yourself something ready to go.
