Is there an "O" ring or other sealing medium for the inner shaft? I could not drift the securing wedge out with reasonable force to separate the inner from the outer shaft. I didn't want to damage anything with excess force (past experience!). There did not appear to be excess play between the two shafts. The car only has 64,000 miles on it. Thoughts?
