It's very common on forums. You have to sift through the crap posts to get to the good stuff.

To me there is value in keeping a car you've had for awhile too. There is something to this "bonding" thing.
The gentleman with the wagon knows that his is just reliable safe transportation so his decisions are based more on safety and economics. Nothing wrong with that approach either.....
