yes correct, I am from CANADA. This smart is a diesel 3 cyl. does not have the mitsu gas engine. The srs, location of impact sensors, the crash sensor etc. are the same. same platform since released in Canada in 05. the only difference from then til now is gas vs. diesel. (I am waiting for dealer to respond with diagnoses. Was wondering if anyone has heard of this before with Smart. I havn't.
