Has anyone cut out the 5.25" holes in the rear deck of your w123 to fit 6.5" speakers? It looks and feels like there is enoough meat around there to cut before the sheetmetal gets in the way. I've looked and listened to about all 5.25" speakers and none cut it for me. I need more midbass. My subwoofer totally overpowers the little 5.25". I know i will be fine with 6.5" speakers if i can make them fit.
