Thanks for the response. Even though I live in Colorado, I think I can get by w/o the 4matic, since the RWDs have traction control. I get a much better feel from the owners of the 2000, and I am slightly suspicious of the 2002 dealer selling several thousand below book. What did the the 2001 update address? If the 2000 has been dealer serviced, any chance of critical updates being taken care of?
