Ah, repeated repairs!
Kind of like the records from back when I had an S-10. Every eight or nine months there was a receipt in the pile for a new driver side interior door handle.
I realised today that there is a critical error in my record keeping. What I call parts of opportunity, salvaged and/or new parts that I obtain for spares simply because they are convenient or cheap at the time, are piled in with all of the receipts for parts that are actually bolted to the car. Oops.
Looks like I have some work to do. It's a good thing I have the disturbing ability to look at ancient receipts, and identify the date, the part, and whether it was an extra or not. I should get that taken care of before I go senile.
