i have a 1976 240d (w115) with an automatic and this morning i go to back out of my garage and there is barley any reverse. it just kind of idles backwards. it has been starting to leak fluid (a drop about the size of a dime every day) so i made sure i topped it off but still the same thing. so what do you guys think? time for a new tranny or could it be some king of adjustment? i live on the sf peninsula. any one have an idea on who i could see to check it out?
