I have 86 560 sel that was running fine even though we were not driving it up until today.

Had someone who wanted to purchase it and I went to start and nothing...

I do not hear the fuel pump as I thought I normally did previously. I can not get it to start, turns over fine.

I have read the posts concerning Fuel Pump Relay but wanted to be sure before I went to purchase one. Are there any tricks to diagnosis this as the problem?

Any ideas or suggestions appreciated, just did not want to jump in and purchase a fuel pump either.
