What car?
It would be good to know what car you have. If you're driving a W123 like me it specifies Dexron II which is what most bottles sold as standard ATF are. Even if you have a newer model that rquires Dexron III I don't think topping off with Dexron II is any great calamity. If you did a fluid change with the wrong stuff I would say drain and replace. It's much cheaper than a premature transmission rebuild.
