Lightbulb Range Rover Fixed!!!

Well I went out, bought some hose pieces with nipples on them for hoses. I attached a small hose inbetween the oilo cooler hose and the radiator. Cost was about $50.00 total. Much better than $250 for new hoses and $100 for new radiator oil cooler adapters. Now I can easily retrofit in an extra oil and trans cooler to the car!!!!

I am very pleased. Drove the car for an hour, uphill, downhill, on the freeway, at high speeds, low speeds, in stop start traffic and on surface streets. Temp gauge was just tad lower than the cars previous normal operating temp, and when kicking on the auxillary fans I wired to a switch, temp went down even more.

My brother and I are very pleased with our job for the day!!

Tomorrow, the 380SL gets new front discs and pads, new rear discs, and a new hood pad.

Geeze I kinda feel like Mike Tangas. I have taken what was broken, and brought it back to life. Thanks for the inspiration Mike, I knew that if you could bring that 560 back from the dead, I could bring the range rover back, and I have.

A Little Creative thinking, and the right parts, and the car is good to go!

Alon
