sunroof
In my 85 the sunroof quit like you describe. Turned out to be the dash switch. It is a weird setup on the switch, if I remember correctly, where it swaps the +12v on the poles at the motor to make it run fwd and rev. I did the jumper test too and found the motor to be OK.
Oh, just had to clean up the switch to make things go again...
