If you told me what I'm going to tell you, I wouldn't believe you. My 84 300D does not use oil period. Dipstick measures full at the 3000k interval for oil changes. My 85 goes down about 1/3 of the distance between the full and add mark. They both have over 200k on them and I would never have thought that such a thing was possible before entering the MB world.
