So in the last 24hrs I've gone from a bafoon scared to touch the car to pissed off at all the gunk in the crossover and intake and ready to start modifications to the EGR, but there is a problem, this is the 2.5T model (1993) not the older 300D. I like the idea of a malfunctioned EGR or rather I think since this is a spare vehicle I just want to make it an off-road racer. With all that in mind, I have done some forum reading on the topic and I'm very confused. If I had an older 300D this seems trivial, but I have the 93 2.5T which it seems has a problem if you just block the EGR to intake port. The computer doesn't like that apparently from many posts and kills the turbo boost. Simple question, is there a consensus in all these posts on how to disable the EGR on this model without destroying the turbo boost?
