Thanks Chris. I tried wrenching them off per your suggestion, and they worked off without too much trouble. Didn't need to work the star adjuster, and after brushing and blowing out the dust, the new rotors slipped on nicely. Thank you again for the info.

My brakes are all new MB now, and are they nice! Quiet and outstanding stopping power.
