I've searched through a lot of the posts on the AT fluid for the 722.x transmissions and I know I have the 722.4 but I didn’t see any posts referring to what type fluid I should be putting back into it. Actually I plan on getting the fluid and filter and then taking it to an indie shop to change the fluid/filter as I read the time for it was 0.8 hours? Does that time include the torque converter drain also and will I need to tell them specifically to drain the converter or is that something that’s done with a transmission fluid change? The shop is a European specialty shop and I imagine they know what they are doing but I want to make the right request when I am making an appointment.
