that is an interesting question....hmmm....yeah....well....what do you think happened here? that does sound whack...where did you get these parts from? I have never ever heard of shock/strut absorbers/cartidges ever being that position sensitive. I can't believe that the right rear cartidge is any different the left rear cartridge on my car. And I have repaced many, many front/rear suspension components on Audis, BMW's, Fiats, Mercedes, Peugeots and whatever. I have never seen 4 different shock/cartridge model number on 1 car....ever.....the only thing I can think of was those GoodYear GatorBacks that they tried to prise off on GM for the Corvette back in the late 80s early 90s? One tire for each end of the car. At $450 a copy, and you can't take the front left and put it on the rear left...rats....
