I hand scrubbed the entire underside with soap and a floor brush, then touched up the undercoating with 3M undercoat. still looks good to this day even. 2 years later.

Well I thought of that, but if I did that, the tailpipes would be too "out of tune". whereas, the majority of the air would be coming out of one side vs the other. This way there is equal air and tone from both. There is no fuel pump danger, due to the way I bent the exhaust around it. Plenty of room to dissipate heat.
